Cervical Pain

In addressing cervical (neck) pain, a physical therapist would assess the neck's range of motion, muscle strength, and posture. Treatment may involve gentle manual therapy techniques such as mobilization or manipulation of the cervical spine. The therapist may prescribe specific neck exercises to improve strength and flexibility and provide guidance on ergonomics, neck posture, and relaxation techniques. Education on lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies may also be part of the rehabilitation plan.
